This year for the East long weekend a few of us headed over to Lisbon. The city of 45 degree streets, Sagres beer and flirty butches. If you ever get the chance to head there, do. Oh, and no Nando's chicken shops in sight.
A much loved family member of the Collins' family past away this time last year. Unfortunately we were in Berlin when Pom passed, and were not able to pay our respects at his memorial. A little after this, I found this photo on an old roll of film. I shot this image of Pom around Easter last year.
Traveling to Brussels on the Eurostar is like being upgraded to premium economy on cheap airline. It is better than flying, but you still have to get up super early to make the departure. But once you get there, its actually quite a delight. Everyone was telling us Brussels is the most boring city in Europe. I personally have even missed this city twice before.... I guess it was third time lucky.
Brussels main flea market is a £10 paradise. The stalls are filled to the brim of goods to fill a shipping container with. After the market, you can gorge on amazing pizza, or have a hot roasted pork rolls from one of the food stalls on the main square. Food, markets and sleep. What else do you need on a weekend away? |
